Mood board..

My mood board represents what comes to mind when listening to The Arctic Monkeys track Balaclava. 
When I first listened to the track, without considering the lyrics, the upbeat rowdiness of the song made me immediately think of teenagers acting pretty reckless and not caring about anything that they do as long as they get a laugh out of it. That is why I have included pictures of youths basically doing what they want, rioting, partying and trespassing. I think this is because of the very first few lines 'Running off over next doors garden, before the hour is done. It's more a question of feeling than it is a question of fun'. Even though I knew that the song was not about what I imagined it was, as I had studied the lyrics I still thought that what I might include in the video is suitable to the song because the lyrics seem quite metaphorical. I knew the underlying theme of the song was about a casual relationship between a man and a women where the man wants to continue with his lifestyle, under the balaclava away from his partner. Despite this I still thought that the initial idea of the song is suitable to my mood board. The track also made me think of the atmosphere at a festival, loud cheering crowds this is why I included the picture of the person crowd surfing, a stage at a festival and lastly the picture of Alex Turner himself playing the guitar. I thought of this probably because of the genre of Arctic Monkeys, them being an indie rock band automatically makes me think of massive amounts of crowds cheering them at a concert because of the image they have already created for themselves. My mood board relates more to the band itself because of the image they have already portrayed. But, the song still makes me think of a stereotypical trouble causing Indie Rock band. It sounds like a fun, rowdy song that causes the listener an adrenaline rush.
