Update 11/03/13...

Today in lesson we did peer assessments on our music videos, assessing our progress so far and applying a grade to it. We were given the success criteria for the editing module and had to grade an others work in reference to the criteria. I learned from my feedback where I needed to improve, in my music video so far, although I thought I was almost finished, the person who assessed my video said that the last 30 seconds of the video should be replaced with something else as it didn't fit the storyline and graded it currently at a Merit. I immediately acted upon this and deleted the last 30 seconds and rearranged my video so that it made more sense. I think that my overall video has improved, and I really benefited from the peer feedback. I also used the criteria to grade someone else's progress so far, this also proved useful to me because I read in depth the grade boundaries in order to provide a grade for the persons work which made it easier for me to return back to my computer to improve it because I knew exactly what made the video a distinction level.
